Follow these instructions to delete your signature:
The steps to remove / delete your signature are as follows:
Click File
Click Options
Click Mail
Click Signatures
Click the signature to delete in the Select signature to edit box.
Click Delete
A confirmation message will appear, Click Yes to delete the signature
Click OK to save the changes
Why attach a signature to my emails?
Branding is a key component of our corporate identity and vital to the legitimacy and professionalism in creating a cohesive image of BPC. It also establishes a positive image in the minds of the client by reinforcing who we are and what we stand for.
We are excited to be introducing a new and improved centralised platform for our email signatures. What this means is that your signature will no longer form part of the body of your email and you are not required to update your details manually. Instead, this will automatically be done on your behalf from our server. All you need to do is type the body of your email and press “send” and although you may not see your signature, it will most definitely be seen by the recipient of your email.
The signature serves multiple purposes like:
Introducing yourself to customers and other business associates.
Market the brand and image of Bidvest Protea Coin.
Providing easy contact details.
Establish your position and function as a BPC employee.
Protect yourself and BPC with a disclaimer notice.
Save time on including a signature when required.
Use signature to save time
Add signature greetings to e-mail automatically
Open Outlook
Click New Email
In the Signature dropdown click Signature. The Signature and Staionery window opens.
Select your default signature for E-mail Account,New Message and Replies/forwards
Click OK to save.
Tip! Save the signature and see what it looks like on an email before you start using it permanently.
