What is Office365

The office 365 suite is a cloud service, that means it stores informaiton in the cloud and keeps it updated by using cloud compatible software and services.Bidvest Protea Coin has got all the licenses and tools to facilitate the process for all our employees.

The only complex part, is that there is a cloud for every application in the Microsoft suite.

Office 365 is a suite of all the everyday application we use, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. Microsoft Outlook is the e-mail reader. Microsoft OneDrive is a private storage solution and Microsoft Teams is a collaboration solution.

We as users of the cloud, don’t need to understand all of these things but we need to adapt a little to allow them to work in our favour.

Login to any Microsoft application

To start using the cloud applications, you have to login. Login on all the cloud applications are the same.

1. Username is your @proteacoin.co.za e-mail address
2. Password is your domain / computer password.
3. This account is not your personal account it is a work account that is subject to licensing fees and audit requirements. Choose Work or school account when you log in.
4. Multi Factor Authentication is in the process of being launched. Just accept or deny the login as appropriate when you are requested to.
